Tesla has increased the price of its high-performance electric SUV, the Model X Plaid, by $5,000 in the United States, bringing the new base price to $94,990, up 5.5% from $89,990.
This price adjustment comes shortly after Elon Musk expressed concerns about rising interest rates potentially affecting the affordability of vehicles.
The Model X Plaid, known for its impressive 1,020 horsepower and rapid acceleration, experienced a $12,500 price increase earlier this year.
Tesla has been adjusting prices over the past year due to supply chain challenges, inflation, and strong demand but has not announced similar increases internationally
